You will support the Engineering team with daily maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep throughout guest rooms, public areas, exterior spaces, and back-of-house areas. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on approach will help ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable stay while our team has a safe and functional workplace. What You Will Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments. Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs. Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces. Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment. Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and repairs. Respond to maintenance emergencies and guest needs in a timely and professional manner. Assist with maintaining HVAC systems, water systems, laundry equipment, and other hotel equipment. Identify recurring maintenance issues and communicate concerns to the Engineering leadership team. Help maintain the hotel grounds and exterior areas as needed. Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Assist with property improvement projects, inspections, renovations, and repairs as needed. Support outside vendors and contractors when they are working on hotel property. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Follow all brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Provide professional and courteous service to guests and team members. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in hotel maintenance, building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related technical field preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools. Ability to identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions. Reliable, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests. Ability to work independently while supporting the Engineering team. Hospitality or hotel maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Ready to Put Your Skills to Work?
